when observing an abrupt shift in the way men treat her when her marriage ended, a Nigerian woman took to social media to vent her frustration.
She claims that when she was still married, a number of men consistently sent her direct messages expressing interest even though they knew she was married.
“All those guys, where una dey? Those ones that were disturbing me when I was still in my husband’s house, chatting me up and down. Despite the fact that I was married, some of them no get fear.”
She further disclosed that the males who previously expressed interest in her had entirely vanished because she is no longer with her husband.
The woman said she was perplexed by the scenario and that, rather than expecting less attention now that she is single, she expected more.
“Now that the opportunity has come, I’m not in my husband’s house again, nobody is disturbing me. The opportunity has come, no one is coming forward again,” she added.
Since then, her article has generated conflicting responses on the internet, with other users expressing their thoughts on time, attraction, and human nature.
One user wrote, “Men like what they can’t have 😭” while another added, “Now you’re available, they lost interest, but I hope you didn’t leave your marriage because of any man?”
