“Nobody knew your picture until I made it trend” – Anita Joseph slams Caramel Plug over AI photo controversy

Following their recent disagreement over a cropped photo, Nollywood actress Anita Joseph and socialite Caramel Plug have rekindled their animosity.

Anita asserted on her Instagram page that Caramel’s photo only attracted attention because to the turmoil around her and that she was the reason it went viral.

The actress claims that although she had already apologetic for the incident, Caramel’s reaction made her bring it up once more.

“Nobody knew you took a picture like that. Girl, your picture didn’t even trend; I made it trend. Now put some respect on that name you don’t know. Okwa e feel go’ya now? I apologised, yet you sent that reply.

My children say make I delete apology. My babies, I have. Let’s help her trend now, as her pic no even trend,” she wrote.

Anita further disclosed that she had heeded the recommendations of her admirers to remove the apology she had originally posted.

Caramel accused Anita Joseph of using her picture and purportedly removing her head, which sparked the drama.

Caramel mockingly advised the actress to encourage her “imaginary AI boy” to do better the next time, even though Anita eventually apologised and blamed artificial intelligence (AI) for the incident.

In response to the criticism, Anita insisted that she held the tech studio accountable for the purported error rather than blaming Caramel for her reaction.

Reactions to the conversation have persisted on social media.
