Nigerian Woman Sparks Debate After Claiming Women Don’t Truly Love Men

A Nigerian woman has triggered debate on social media after claiming that women do not genuinely love men, including their husbands, but are more attracted to the benefits they receive from relationships.

The woman argued that financial support, protection and other forms of provision are the primary factors that keep women committed to their male partners.

She cautioned men against interpreting their partners’ affection and commitment as unconditional love, suggesting that their attitudes could change when they are no longer able to meet their financial expectations.

Woman explains her views on love and relationships

Speaking on the subject, she maintained that a man’s ability to provide financially plays a significant role in determining how long a woman stays in a relationship.

She stated:

“No woman on earth loves you, including your wife. I repeat, no woman on earth loves you, including your wife.”

She further suggested that men who believe their wives love them unconditionally might reconsider that belief if they lose their sources of income.

However, she made an exception for mothers, describing maternal affection as the only genuine form of love a man could receive from a woman.

In her words:

“The only woman wey fit love you for this life na your mama. Only your mama love you.”

Relationship claims generate mixed reactions

Her comments have reignited conversations about financial responsibilities, gender expectations and the meaning of genuine affection in romantic relationships.

While some may view financial provision as an important part of a relationship, her sweeping assertion that women do not genuinely love men remains a personal opinion rather than an established fact.

She did not present evidence to support her claims, leaving her remarks open to debate among social media users.
