A prophecy by the founder of the Lord Grace Provinces, Joel Atuma, who had said that Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen won’t score any goal in the AFCON quarter-final because he is under a curse from his pastor is trending.

Osimhen, who could have broken the jinx of goal drought was adjudged to have strayed offside after finding the back of the net in the quarter-final game against Angola.

Nigerian fans in the stands were in disbelief alongside some netizens who referenced Pastor Atuma’ s prophecy.

Most worrisome, the cleric added that Osimhen won’t score any more goals in the AFCON competition.

Pastor Atuma made the submission before the quarter-final game between Nigeria and Angola.

He said God told him the striker’s pastor had cursed him.

He further went on to say: “The Lord said that Osimhen will not score one goal again till the AFCON is over and the problem is from his Pastor, did he score yesterday?

Meanwhile, Osimhen had insisted that he does not care about his lack of goals at the Africa Cup of Nations after the Super Eagles beat Angola 1-0 on Friday to progress to the semi-finals.
