“Na who give me money, I go dey pray for” — Pastor says during special prayer for yahoo boys (Video)

When a preacher in Ughelli, Delta State gathered a bunch of “yahoo guys” for a special prayer at a crusade, it caused some controversy.

A preacher is shown in a social media video praying over suspected internet scammers, sometimes known as “yahoo lads,” in the clip.

Before beginning his prayer, the pastor recalled how one of the lads had phoned him to talk about his difficulties and had been later given N2M and another N1M as a present.

His prayer went as follows: “Your BTC account will increase; your domiciliary account will increase; I decree, every week confirmation; every month confirmation.” He then called the remaining Yahoo Boys at the crusade to the front of the altar.

The video has, however, stirred mixed reactions on social media as many referred to the preacher as a fake man of God.

“Imagine building your wealth on the pains of others. The tear and heartache you cause others. As for this pastor 🤐,” a social media user wrote in reaction.

Another user added, “The real pastors in Nigeria no pass 50, the rest of them are business owners.”

An Instagram user, however, argued fervently that fraud is justified in the Bible as he cited the nation of Isreal as an example.
