“Men carry a lot of pressure, women rarely steal” – Blord explains why most of his staff are female

Blord recently stirred a debate online after stating why the majority of his employees are women.

According to him, men suffer more societal pressure than women, which he believes influences workplace behaviour and honesty when handling significant quantities of money.

He further stated that when a man works in an institution where millions of naira flow through his hands without theft, it is usually because he is pleased with what he has.

Blord remarked that women do steal, but he deems it uncommon. In 2025, Blord’s company paid out ₦1.1 billion in salary, with female employees managing the majority of activities.

Women face less pressure in society, while men carry most of the pressure in this world. When a man works in an organization where millions of naira pass through his hands without thinking of steåling, it is only because he is content with what he has.”

The message elicited varied comments on social media, with some admiring his approach and others condemning it as misogynistic and self-promotional. The conversation has now become a popular topic across multiple platforms.
