Man Utd sack Rúben Amorim after 14 months in charge - worst Old Trafford record this century

Following Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Leeds United, which left the Old Trafford team sixth in the Premier League standings, Manchester United announced on Monday that it had fired head coach Rúben Amorim.

The Portuguese strategist moved to English football 14 months ago. In 63 games, he had a mediocre record of just 1.43 points per game across all competitions, with 25 victories, 15 draws, and 23 losses. The interim head coach is Darren Fletcher.
