A man has recounted a troubling experience with his mechanic after what was supposed to be a routine vehicle repair allegedly resulted in more serious mechanical problems.
According to him, he handed his car over to a mechanic identified as Mr Kamal after noticing instability in the vehicle’s front right tyre. The mechanic reportedly assured him the issue would be fixed within a few hours but later delayed returning the vehicle, blaming unavailable parts and other complications.
The man explained that shortly after getting the car back, the engine warning light began appearing intermittently. After taking the vehicle for diagnostics, he claimed he was informed that an important component had allegedly been removed and replaced with a less effective part.
He further alleged that the mechanic initially denied any wrongdoing when confronted but later apologized and offered to replace the component.
Although the car was reportedly restored temporarily and driven without issues for some time, the man said the engine warning light eventually reappeared while he was heading home, prompting him to consider taking further action over the matter.
