A 29-year-old Zimbabwean woman has been remanded in custody after allegedly biting her husband’s pr!vate p@rt during a d0mestic dispute over claims of an extramarital affair.
The incident reportedly occurred in Dzivarasekwa 2 on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, involving Sharline Rutendo Munenga and her 33-year-old husband, Munyaradzi Pondi.
According to H-Metro, Munenga appeared before a Harare magistrate on Friday, September 11, where she faced a physical abuse charge in connection with the alleged att@ck.
Dispute reportedly started over alleged affair
The court reportedly heard that Munenga confronted Pondi after receiving information suggesting that he was involved with another woman.
An argument allegedly followed after Munenga was dissatisfied with her husband’s response to the accusation. Prosecutors alleged that the disagreement subsequently became physical, with Munenga allegedly biting Pondi’s private p@rt and causing serious injuries.
Pondi was reportedly taken to hospital for treatment and was said to be in serious condition.
Munenga was remanded in custody following her court appearance as proceedings in the case continue.
The allegations against her have not been proven in court.
