According to the man, he stepped outside his house at 5:57 a.m. and was taken aback by what he saw.
Instead of quiet streets, he encountered heavy traffic, with people and vehicles already crowding major roads as if the day had officially begun.

In a TikTok video, the man captured footage of the Iyana Oworo road, which showed numerous motorists and commuters on the move before dawn.
The scene, he said, reflected how difficult life has become for many Lagosians.

Reacting emotionally to the situation, the realtor described Lagos as a “stupid place”, linking the relentless lifestyle to poor well-being and health outcomes.
He suggested that the pressure of early rising, long commutes, and constant stress may contribute to reduced life expectancy in the state.
He wrote: “LAGOS IS A STUPID PLACE FR 😡 tell me why I’m leaving my house by 5:57 am and everywhere is already crowded, no wonder our life expectancy is 57 years. We’re not even sleeping well, eating well, or living well. This is [expletive]!”
