Former presidential aide and one of the chieftains of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Lauretta Onochie has taken to her official X account on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 to react to the statement that was made by the former Attorney General of Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami.
This came after Abubakar Malami, his wife and son were released from prison.
In the video that surfaced online, the former Attorney General of the Federation said he will not retreat or surrender.
He said;
“No retreat no surrender, there is no doubt about it. I remain in politics, I will participate in politics and I will pursue my political ambition aggressively”.
Reacting, Lauretta Onochie stated that Abubakar Malami will not retreat or surrender.
According to Lauretta Onochie on her official X account;
“This was why he was caged and given no opportunity to respond to the politically motivated media trial levelled against him and family”.
