The second death anniversary of actor Junior Pope Odonwodu, who died on April 10, 2024, is today, April 10, 2026. 

After a boat accident on the Anam River in Anambra State, Nigeria, the deceased passed away. On April 10, 2024, he was returning from a filming location when his boat overturned. Investigations later determined that the lack of life jackets was a result of human error.

Jennifer, his wife and mother of his three sons, described how she learned of his death and offered prayers for his soul’s rest in an Instagram post this morning.

I Was Driven To The Scene And Saw The Very Massive Crowd And Some Were Asking Why Was I Brought There…..I Was Still Trying To Understand What Was Going On And A Black Hilux Drove Past Me With My Husband Lying Lifeless In It’s Trunk With Same Red Shorts He Wore When He Left The House At About 10am That Morning…I Screamed JESUSSSSS Which I’m Sure Heaven Heard The Echo…It Was A Whole Lot That Evening….When He Was Finally Pronounced,,For Some Reason The Doctor Checked By BP And It Was Over 210 Thereabout…I Was Immediately Admitted
