The landlord has prohibited tenants from purchasing food or household items outside the building.
Tenants must purchase all such items directly from the landlord or face immediate consequences, according to an official notice obtained by reporters.
Mandatory food purchases from landlady
The notice, titled “Mandatory House Rules and Regulations,” stated that all tenants must purchase food and household items exclusively from the landlady.
“Tenants are not permitted to purchase such items outside, as these goods are already made available within the house,” it read.
The landlord emphasized that this rule is part of efforts to maintain proper management and order within the compound.
Curfews and conduct rules
In addition to food restrictions, the notice included strict guidelines on daily living. The main gate is locked daily from 12:00 midnight to 5:00 a.m., and no tenant or visitor is allowed entry or exit during these hours.
Crowded gatherings, loitering, smoking anywhere on the premises, and misconduct such as fighting or noise disturbances are strictly prohibited.
The notice warned that any security breach resulting from negligence would hold the responsible tenant fully accountable.
Consequences for non-compliance
The landlord made it clear that these rules are non-negotiable. “Any tenant who fails or refuses to comply with these regulations shall be required to vacate the apartment immediately without further notice,” the notice stated.
Tenants were advised to carefully review the rules and understand that continued residence and rent payment would signify full agreement to comply.
