Social media has been used by a Nigerian woman to criticise a man who allegedly resorted to her friend after she rejected him.

The narrative, which was posted on the microblogging site X (previously Twitter), has generated a lot of online conversation.

The woman, known on X as @JusNuttela, disclosed that the male contacted her and invited her out, but she turned him down.

She claims that she was disappointed when the man chased her companion right away.

His actions frustrated her, and she questioned the wisdom and propriety of pursuing her buddy immediately after she declined.
