Kwara university lecturer dies in auto crash hours after invigilation

Idris Oladimeji Yahyah, a lecturer at the Kwara State University, Malete’s Department of Political Science, was traveling to Ilorin when he was killed in an accident near the Jebba route.

According to the Daily Trust, the event happened on Thursday, August 25, a short while after the dead had done manning the university’s ongoing second semester exam.

The incident was confirmed by Mrs. Saeedat Aliyu, director of university relations, who also said that an official statement would be made shortly.

The late lecturer’s father, wife, and young daughter all survive him. He was an Adifa community native of Ilorin.
