A Nigerian woman has sparked debate online after advising men to recognise their worth and quit overextending themselves in relationships.
In a video posted on X (previously Twitter), she stated that evil is not gender-based, emphasising that men should quit acting as “fathers” to women they are dating.
According to her, if women insist that they are not their mothers, men should refrain from taking on parenting responsibilities in partnerships.
“Men, how I wish you know your worth. Wickedness is not gender-based. If these ladies are saying, ‘We’re not your mother,’ why should you act like their fathers? Who sent you? Why are you overplaying your roles?” she said.
The lady also encouraged men to look for red signals, noting that women who frequently use words like “Dracula,” “Olodo uprising,” and “pick me” may not be suitable partners.
She also chastised those women who openly declare themselves independent, claiming that many nevertheless rely on other males behind the scenes.
“The moment you’re meeting a lady and she’s starting to use words like Dracula, Olodo uprising or pick me, just know you’ve made the wrong choice. Women will boldly say they’re independent, but behind that independence is another man they’re depending on,” she added.
She continued by encouraging men not to let angry opinions on social media impact their relationships, noting that some people merely wish to drag others into their own difficulties.
