King Michy, a social media personality, has issued a public apology following anger over a live broadcast in which she admitted to taking a narcotic on camera.
Recall when King Mitchy got into a confrontation with Verydarkman after calling him out for withholding the donated NGO funding and insisting that he start working.
In a video statement, she admitted that her acts were inappropriate and stated that she had spent the last few days reflecting on her behaviour.
She stated that she realises the responsibility that comes with having young people look up to her and acknowledged to disappointing many people.
King Michy also publicly apologised to Seyi Tinubu, stating that while she had previously apologised individually, she felt it was essential to do so publicly because the incident occurred in public.
She also apologised to the Oni of Ife for invoking his name throughout the controversy and expressed regret for involving him in the matter.
In addition, she apologised to activist Martins Vincent Otse, stating she now understands his activism and recognises his efforts to develop Nigeria.

“I’m ready to be held accountable for my actions. For some days I’ve thought about my behavior and I know that I was wrong and I want to be held accountable for the substance I took on a live video.
That was very wrong of me because there are young girls that are looking up to me one day and I know I disappointed a lot of people and I’m choosing life. That was wrong of me. I was wrong. and my boss ST i’m so sorry i know i apologized privately but i did not disrespect you privately i disrespected you publicly so i want to apologize publicly i’m so sorry sir and I want you to know that I will never take your support for granted. I

And to the Oni of Ife, I’m so sorry, sir. I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry for bringing your name into this. I’m so sorry, daddy.
And Verydarkman, my brother, I see what you’re f!ghting for. You’re f!ghting for Nigerians. And we can make Nigeria a better place. And I’m sorry for coming at you like that.
Maybe now I understand you better because I had to step back and understand the kind of person that you are. And I see that you’re f!ghting for a good cause for Nigeria to be better. You need more supporters, not people to f!ght you. I’m sorry, my brother. Thank you, Nigeria. My name is king Michy”
