Following an attack by bandits on the home of Mallam Suleiman Mai Rake in Unguwar Yayyara, Yantumaki village, Danmusa Local Government Area, Katsina State, four confirmed deaths have occurred.

The attackers took two of Mai Rake’s cows and killed him during the invasion. Mai Rake is the father of Katsina Community Watch Corps member Isa Bawa Yantumaki.

Additional information revealed that a gang of bandits, thought to be from the Madachi forest, attacked Ungwar Damari in Sabuwa LGA on seven motorcycles, murdering two people and one Shehu Armaya’u, a watch corps member from Katsina.

Armaya’u, who had received permission to visit his family, passed away in the attack.
