“It will be worse than ever” – Old prophecy of late TB Joshua on what will happen after Israel attacks Iran trends

An ancient prophecy by the late Nigerian televangelist Prophet T.B. Joshua has begun to trend on social media as tensions in the Middle East rise following a huge military strike against Iranian leadership.

The prophecy resurfaces following claims that the US and Israel carried out a coordinated military operation on Saturday, February 28 2026 that resulted in the murder of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

The act has generated significant unrest in the region and fuelled global concerns about a larger conflict.

As people posted the video online, several cited Joshua’s previous pronouncements regarding the prospect of an Israeli-Iranian war, warnings that some now believe are becoming more pertinent in light of current developments.

In the popular video, the late cleric discussed the probable consequences of a war between Israel and Iran.

He exhorted his congregation to pray for peace, warning that such a conflict might quickly grow, engulf other countries, and be considerably more catastrophic than previous world conflicts.

He emphasised that the dispute might have far-reaching global ramifications and urged international leaders and believers to pray for peace to prevent large-scale violence.

Read his words below:

Pray for the nation Iran. I’m seeing a tension between Iran and Israel. The tension of ‘you want to fight?’ If that should happen, it will be very serious than any other one you have ever witnessed. But we should not stop praying because if there’s a breaking prayer. War will start—let us pray—because this one would be different from others.

This is why we don’t want a fight. If this kind of fight starts, every other you have read about—it’s an atom. This one will be an element. You know atom to element—how big the size. So that there, this was not issue fighting the country to contribute. The whole world should begin to pray that this will not happen. They should come to understanding and dialogue because if these things happened, many countries would join in support of others. Trouble has come.

And it do not be issue of ‘Come on! I’m talking, you are talking me’—it’s between ‘I would not agree, I will not agree.’ God should stop two of us if not. ‘Come, you want to support this man to fight me? You want to support me? Do you want to support this one? Come! You want to support this? You want to support me? You want to support me—what is coming? World War.’ Sit down.

So I’m talking to you in parable. This is the only way I can say. So this why I said it’s not like others. The whole scenario—it’s more like orders. So please, we should be very careful all over the world. It’s no like orders—order may just go. But this one, it will spread. So, please—dialogue, settlement…”
