A plastic surgeon has warned about the risks of the Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), calling it one of the most dangerous cosmetic surgeries.
During an interview on a show, Dr. Dubrow admits that, while the BBL may appear appealing to people in their 20s or early 30s, it does not age well and has significant health concerns.
According to him, BBL includes extracting fat from various regions of the body and transferring it to the buttocks to increase their size.
However, he cautioned that the procedure can be exceedingly dangerous due to the veins in that location of the body.
He stated that if fat is inadvertently injected into certain veins, it can spread throughout the bloodstream and cause serious issues.This consequence is known as a fat embolism, and it has apparently killed several celebrities.
The doctor also stated that he personally avoids performing BBL operations due of the hazards involved. He insisted that no cosmetic enhancement is worth putting one’s life at peril.
Dr. Dubrow observed that many people had BBLs merely because they are trendy, without fully knowing the hazards.
Host: What procedure would anyone regret?”
Dr. Dubrow: I think is BBL. I don’t do it. While it may look appealing in your 20s or early 30s but at 50 or 60. It I’m telling you it does not look good. And It’s hard to reverse it.
Host : “Why?”
Dr. Dubrow: “Because it is a… the most fatal… lip0su(tion part of the body. It’s the most danger0us procedure in pl@stic surg£ry. You take out fat from one part of the abdomen or the one part of the body then clean it up and you inject it into the butt0ck to make the buttock huge Here’s the problem. There’s little short blood vessels in the butt0ck that are kind of wide but short. They lead directly to the main vein that leads back to your heart. it’s done blindly so if you inject fat into one of those veins and it gets into the vena cave of the main vein going to your heart. And it goes to your right heart to your lungs boom dead. Yeah, this happens all the time.
Host: Well, I thought a vein in your butt will give you a heart attack
Dr. Dubrow: No, it fat embolus It’s called. By the way, Google, look online. You’ll see how many celebrities have died this way
Host: really?
Dr. Dubrow: Yeah It’s happened two weeks ago again
Host: So the way to go out just because I wanted to look a little better and not work out I died
