Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) says it carried out coordinated missile attacks on several United States military installations across the Middle East in response to recent US strikes on Iranian territory.
According to a report by Anadolu Agency on Thursday, June 11, 2026, the IRGC said it launched two separate waves of operations targeting what it described as 18 US-linked military sites. The group claimed the strikes focused on air bases, aviation assets, and command-and-control facilities used by American forces.
According to the IRGC, units from its Aerospace Force and Navy were involved in the attacks, which it said hit locations including US-associated facilities at Ali al-Salem Air Base, Ahmad al-Jaber Air Base in Kuwait, and Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain.
The organization also stated that it fired 12 ballistic missiles at sites where US fighter jets such as the F-35, F-15, and F-16 were stationed. It further identified Al-Azraq Air Base (Muwaffaq Salti Air Base) and related command centers as part of the targeted areas.
The IRGC said the strikes were retaliation for earlier US military actions inside Iran, which it claimed hit multiple locations including industrial areas, a recreational site, and security and military facilities near Karaj, Nazarabad, and Pishva.
It added that the operations caused significant damage to US military infrastructure and aircraft, though these claims have not been independently verified.
The group also warned that further military responses could follow if additional attacks are carried out against Iran.
