A 30-year-old interior decorator, identified as Esohe Aigbe, has reportedly been h@cked to d3ath during a funeral ceremony in Benin City, Edo State.

According to reports, the deceased had volunteered to carry out a free decoration job as her contribution to the funeral event.

Family members revealed that she had gone to assist a friend in decorating the venue located on Ujo Street in the Ogida area.

After completing the decoration, she reportedly remained at the venue when unidentified individuals allegedly att@cked her.

She was rushed to the University of Benin Teaching Hospital with severe injuries but later d!ed while receiving treatment.

Her remains have since been deposited in a mortuary.

Relatives of the deceased have called on security agencies to thoroughly investigate the incident and ensure those responsible are brought to justice.

As of the time of this report, no arrests have been made and no suspects have been identified.
