According to a recent report by Daily Post on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, a popular cleric of the Church of Christ in Nations, stated that he was involved in a bank robbery in Jos, Plateau State, in 1980.
Dachomo said he was part of a gang that successfully carried out the robbery. He stated that the robbery operation was led by his best friend at the time and they made away with a substantial amount of money during the robbery.
However, Dachomo stated that after the robbery operation he had an encounter with Jesus and that encounter changed him completely. He stated that shortly after the encounter, he went outside and tried to smoke a cigarette but could no longer do it. He said his life was transformed after that experience, and he dedicated himself to serving God ever since
In Dachomo’s words: “Because I went in 1980, it was our gang that robbed a bank in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. 1980, they made away with a lot of money. It was my best friend that led the operation.”
