A man has sparked discussion on social media after sharing details of a private conversation he had with a friend shortly before the friend’s wedding in Abuja.

According to him, the groom explained his reasons for going ahead with the marriage during a discussion that took place a day before the ceremony.

Although the wedding proceeded as planned, the account attributed to the groom has generated mixed reactions among social media users.

Recounting the conversation, the man claimed that his friend admitted romantic love was not the main factor behind his decision to marry his bride.

“My friend and his wife got married today here in Abuja. According to him, he told me yesterday that he isn’t marrying his wife because he really loves her but because she is a good girl and a virgin. That she doesn’t have the kind of body he likes in a woman.”

“He also said that he knows he won’t be loyal to his wife but he just wants to keep her because she is good.”
