A Nigerian woman has spoken out online about an alleged attack by suspected Fulani herders in a hamlet in Imo State, bemoaning the area’s state of insecurity.
According to her, locals were forced to abandon their houses after armed individuals allegedly invaded the town, kidnapped people for ransom, and destroyed market property.

The sobbing lady said it was upsetting that many people are now living in dread and may be attacked or kidnapped at any time without protection.
She also said that the insecurity situation in sections of the East has grown terrible, with many inhabitants living in constant fear and uncertainty.
“People have to run and leave their homes. They can actually kill anybody they like and kidnap people to ask for ransom. People don scatter. I’m coming back please,” she added.
The video has provoked emotive emotions online, with many Nigerians expressing concern over rising insecurity and attacks around the country.
