A Nigerian woman has stirred outrage online after complaining about the state of her kitchen, which she claims is frequently kept dirty by her sisters-in-law.
In a video posted on X (previously Twitter), the woman showed a chaotic kitchen packed with unclean dishes and scattered utensils, stating that she discovered the scenario while attempting to make supper for her children.
She claims she lives in the same house as two grown-up sisters-in-law, who allegedly leave the kitchen dirty for her to clean virtually every morning.

“Actually, I’m not the type to come on social media to rant about my life, but this morning I just felt like I’ve had enough already. I’m tired, I’m exhausted,” she said while displaying the state of the kitchen.
She added that, despite having two children to care for, she frequently finds herself responsible for cleaning the entire kitchen before cooking.
The woman went on to say that whenever she complains about the situation, she is frequently accused of being overly dramatic or harsh.
“I wash everything all in the name of protecting my home and my marriage, but I’m tired. I don’t think I can continue like this anymore,” she added.
The video has elicited mixed emotions online, with many social media users noting the difficulties that sometimes come with living in extended family houses.
