A Nigerian woman has sparked outrage online by brazenly asserting that a man’s terrible behaviour does not prohibit other women from intervening if a woman walks away.
In a viral video posted on X (previously Twitter), she highlighted that no matter how negatively a woman characterises a man, leaving him does not prevent other women from taking advantage of the situation.
She confessed that there are lots of women out there who are nicer, more educated, and even better in certain aspects and would gladly take her place.
In her words,read what she said below;
“I’m not saying there are no bad men oo. I’m not saying if you want to leave your marriage, don’t leave oo. I’m just saying they are lucky, that’s how God created them, and that’s it.”
According to her, the remark isn’t intended to discourage women from leaving unhealthy situations.
Rather, it’s a reality check on the possibilities men may have depending on luck that won’t jeopardise their happiness.
The video rapidly went viral, eliciting conflicting emotions. Some commended her honesty and termed it a “wake-up call” for women in bad relationships, while others emphasised that being replaced does not imply loss.
