Senior Pastor Chris Okafor of Mountain of Liberation and Miracles Ministries has cautioned that men and women who do not control their sexual impulses will continue to experience recurring issues.
Regardless of their marital status or religious affiliation, the priest claims that many men fall frequently due to unchecked desire.
During a sermon, Pastor Chris Okafor reminded the congregation that beauty is deceiving by quoting the Bible. Men who are eager to appreciate appearance without taking character into account were challenged by him.
“You say she is beautiful, but what about her character?” “You say he is handsome, but what about his altar?” he said.
He clarified that a man is not inherently disciplined just because he is married.
A man lacking self-control will nevertheless pursue women everywhere, whether they are married or single, including on aeroplanes, at shopping centres, and even when they just ask for assistance.
He claimed that some men carry the same attitude into God’s home, pursuing women even in churches, which is the most unsettling aspect.
Pastor Chris Okafor claims that a lack of discipline is the issue rather than temptation.
Social media users’ reactions to the sermon have been conflicting; some have complimented him, while others have questioned whether he was truly preaching what he practices.
Among other unsettling allegations, Nollywood actress Doris Ogala recently accused Pastor Chris Okafor of betraying his wife.
