Nigerian Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti has sparked debate on social media after sharing his views on infidelity, marriage and inheritance.

The musician stated that he would not end his marriage if his wife ch3ated on him, arguing that infidelity does not necessarily have to mark the end of a relationship.

Kuti also criticised what he described as the attitude of some African men toward ch3ating, suggesting that infidelity can occur within relationships and should not automatically lead to separation.

Speaking about his position on marriage, Seun Kuti said:

“If my wife ch3ats on me I won’t leave her because it doesn’t mean anything.”

The singer further stated:

“African men are forming as if ch3ating isn’t a normal thing in a relationship.”

Kuti also shared his perspective on inheritance, stating:

“The only person that can have access to my properties is my sister’s child because that’s the real blood.”

His comments have generated reactions online, with social media users debating his views on marital infidelity, relationship expectations and the distribution of family wealth.
