Super Falcons star Michelle Alozie has revealed that she plans to start doing her own hair after being charged $150 during her first salon visit in 10 years.
Alozie shared her reaction online, saying she had decided to get her hair done professionally for the first time in a decade but was surprised by the amount she was charged.
She said, “I decided to get my hair done for the first time in 10 years, but I was charged $150. Now, I’d be doing it myself.”
Her comment has since generated reactions online, with Nigerians debating whether $150 is too expensive for hairstyling.
@Mark_Lander9993: Aside her. This is exactly what most women will do when they don’t want to spend their money. But they will call a man broke who refuse to pay

@Foxyblueu: Technically, $150 for a hair appointment in America is extremely cheap. If you want Nigerian prices, you should have done it in Lagos.

@sweetpappayaa: Why not make it in Nigeria
@kojo_xox: 150 for what 🤣

@TheRealAnto01: She should barb the hair instead of complaining.
@MEA_Tribe: Don’t broke shame her because you know better. The joy of making your own hair is unmatched.
@dedreamer2020: $150 after 10 years of peace… the way my jaw dropped with hers 😭 Hair is truly a full-time job and a part-time salary. DIY era activated
