A Nigerian man who worked as a waiter at the wedding of Afrobeats superstar Zlatan Ibile has shown off the tips he received at the lavish event.

Earlier, GistReel reported that the singer and his longtime partner, Davita Lamai, held their traditional wedding in Lagos on Saturday, October 24, 2026, with several prominent dignitaries in attendance.

According to the man, identified as @LUVSCK on TikTok, he earned $4 in tips from the wedding, a development he expressed gratitude for.

However, he noticed fellow waiters and food vendors holding bundles of cash at the event, which left him curious and prompted him to seek clarity online about their situation.

”I saw these food vendors counting cash in bundles and I’m very curious, what are you all doing?”, He recounted.

Meanwhile, the man’s story, which has since gone viral online, has sparked mixed reactions, with many highlighting the presence of prominent dignitaries at the event.
