“I will rather see you d£ad than convert to Christianity.” – Young woman recounts challenges after converting from Islam to Christianity

A young woman has shared her experience after deciding to leave Islam and embrace Christianity, describing the personal challenges that followed her decision.

Speaking during a roadside interview, she said she was raised in a loving Muslim household and attended predominantly Christian schools throughout her early education.

According to her, although her parents gave her a solid Islamic upbringing, she continued to have questions about her faith that she felt remained unanswered.

She explained that her perspective began to change after relocating to northern Nigeria for her tertiary education, where she met her fiancé, a gospel artist. Through him, she became involved in Bible study and gained deeper exposure to the Christian faith.

The woman said that after several years of learning, studying, and seeking answers, she decided in 2024 to convert to Christianity.

She added that she later informed her parents of her decision, which reportedly sparked a strong reaction from her father.
