A woman, Tanecqua Garrett, has shared her experience of alleged d0mestic abu$e she says she endured from her husband over many years, as well as how she eventually found the strength to leave the relationship.
In a Facebook post on Wednesday, June 10, she recounted that her husband allegedly att@cked her and bit her on the face after she returned home from the hospital following a Caesarean section childbirth.
“Let me re-introduce myself. I am Tanecqua Garrett. For the past year I been hiding and staying out of public eye the best I could,” she wrote.
“I am a batt3red woman. I ‘ve been suff3ring from d0mestic vi0lence for years.
“I finally got the courage to become brave and choose myself. This photoshoot meant a lot to me because it reminds me of what I been through and what I have overcame.
“I was att@cked and b!tten all over my face after I came home from my c-section by my husband, an abu$ive alc0holic. I hate it took so long for me to leave but I’m finally gone and done.”
