Blessing CEO, a popular relationship expert, has spoken out about her ongoing struggle with breast cancer, revealing the emotional and physical toll it has caused on her.
During an Instagram Live session with Ifedayo Olarinde, aka Daddy Freeze, she confessed that she was diagnosed with breast cancer at a Nigerian hospital.
However, she added that the actual stage of the sickness remains unknown because it was not specifically specified in her medical report.
“I discovered a lump in July last year, and I was later told in early January that it was cancerous. I began preparing for a mastectomy to determine how far the condition had spread. I’m not ready to share my hospital report yet, but I will share it soon,” she said.
When asked about the cost of treatment, Blessing stated she does not have a specific figure, noting that her previous call for financial aid was motivated by uncertainty about the entire nature of her medical needs, which could involve surgery, therapy, and other treatments.
Addressing criticism during the live session, she reacted to a lawyer who questioned her for raising cash without a thorough medical evaluation.
“I didn’t state a fixed amount when asking for help. I was just trying to plan because I didn’t know what to expect, though I may have exaggerated things,” she clarified.
Her declaration comes only days after she made an emotional appeal to Nigerians in a viral video, claiming to be facing stage 4 cancer and expressing anxiety and exhaustion about her situation.
Actress Sarah Martins responded to the development by publicly dismissing Blessing’s accusations, accusing her of creating the issue to raise funds for her partner IVD.
