“I don’t have ₦30,000” — Nigerian lecturer shares financial struggles

A Nigerian doctor and university lecturer has revealed that he is currently facing severe financial difficulties, admitting that he does not even have ₦30,000 to his name. In an honest post shared online, he explained that he is completely broke and struggling to provide for his family. The lecturer disclosed that he has neither cash nor funds in his bank account and recently had to sell his car battery just to buy food for his household. His plight has attracted widespread attention on social media, with many expressing shock that a professional in his position could struggle to meet basic family needs. His words … “I am a Dr and lecturer but walahi, I don’t have 30,000. Not in the bank and not in my pocket. I had to sell the battery of my car to be able to feed my family 3 days ago”.
