“I don’t cook…” – Lady sparks debate after listing things she doesn’t do as a Gen Z wife

A woman has sparked discussion online after sharing some of the things she does as a Gen Z wife that many people consider unconventional.

In a video posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, she explained that she does not strictly follow every traditional expectation often associated with married women. Instead, she and her husband divide responsibilities in a way that suits their relationship.

According to her, she is not focused on meeting society’s definition of a “perfect wife,” emphasizing that marriage has not changed her personality or the way she lives her life.

She also revealed that she does not cook every day, stating that household responsibilities should not rest on one person alone. Rather, she believes couples should work as a team and support each other in managing their home.

“I don’t wash my husband’s clothes. My husband washes his clothes and mine together,” she said.

“I’m not trying to look married. I dress to be comfortable, alive and sexy. I just got married, I’m not losing my style. I don’t cook every day. If I’m tired, we rest or eat out,” she added.
