A Nigerian guy expressed frustration on social media after TikTok sensation Peller handed him ₦1 million for mentioning his name to American streamer IShowSpeed. However, the transaction was quickly reversed.
The incident occurred during IShowSpeed’s current Africa tour to mark his 21st birthday, which included a recent stop in Lagos, Nigeria.
During the tour, the streamer was spotted passing through various neighbourhoods and areas with strict security.
Peller, on the other hand, reportedly attempted to meet with IShowSpeed for a collaboration but was turned down and taken away by Speed’s security team.
Amidst the frenzy, a man was seen chanting Peller’s name and appealing for a partnership as the streamer passed.
The man claimed he received a ₦1 million alert from Peller as a thank you for revealing his name.
However, the excitement did not last long.
He later claimed that the money had been reversed, leaving him bewildered and disturbed.
Taking to social media, the man published images and videos, stating that he had assumed the money was his until discovering it had been taken away.
He begged Peller to check into the situation and resend the money if feasible.
The incident has garnered laughs and conflicting emotions on social media, with some users joking about the issue and others hoping that Peller would see the picture and take action.
