A 27-year-old man has broken down emotionally in a viral video as he expressed frustration over his lack of employment, financial independence and social connections.
In the video shared on X (formerly Twitter), the man said he feels left behind in life, revealing that he still lives with his parents and has no source of income.
He also spoke about his loneliness, saying he has no friends, girlfriend or meaningful social life, leaving him unsure about his future.
Explaining his situation, the man said he will be 27 in November and has little to show for his life so far.
“I’m 27 years old, I’ll be 27 in November, and I still live under my parents’ roof. With absolutely nothing going on in my life,” he said.
He listed unemployment, financial hardship and social isolation as his biggest challenges, adding that he doesn’t know what he is doing with his life.
According to him, his social life is practically non-existent, and he has no one to confide in about his struggles.
The man also gave viewers a look at the room where he lives with his parents, using his living conditions to show his frustration over his lack of independence.
He showed his bed and other belongings, explaining that his father bought the bed, pillow and other items.
He also revealed that the covering he uses at night belongs to his mother, lamenting that he owns nothing himself.
“It’s absolutely nothing to my name,” he said.
The man also said he feels disconnected from the world and is worried that his life is passing him by without any meaningful progress.
“I feel like my life is wasting away. I’m not informed, I’m isolated. I feel outstated from everything in life,” he said.
He added that he feels he is falling behind and doesn’t know where to start in trying to change his situation.
According to him, he had been trying to figure things out by himself, but that approach hasn’t worked.
“I can’t take this anymore man, I’m fucking tired. I can’t continue to endure man, I can’t continue to endure,” he said.
