Controversial social media star Saida Boj has sparked new comments online after wondering why a ‘decent’ man would drive a Toyota Corolla.
In a viral video, she said that she saw a handsome man with tattoos driving what she described as a toy car and couldn’t stop thinking about it.

“How man go fine finish come dey drive Corolla? I was driving yesterday and saw one fine guy inside a car, looking good, with fine tattoos on his body.
I come see say na Corolla he dey drive. Why you go dey drive Corolla? You fine finish carry toy car put for road dey drive.”
The comment prompted outrage on social media, with many Nigerians criticising her for car-shaming and putting financial value ahead of character.
While some agreed that a man’s appearance should correspond to his financial standing, others firmly disagreed, claiming that there is nothing wrong with driving a Corolla, especially in today’s environment.
“So being handsome now requires driving a Benz?” one commenter said. Another remarked, “This kind of thinking pressures young males to commit fraud.
“Make una rest.” The video has continued to trend, reigniting debates about societal standards, materialism, and the pressure placed on males to be wealthy.
