“He refused”- Man mistakenly credited ₦1M to his Opay account refuses to refund despite ₦100K offer

Security personnel arrested a man who had inadvertently credited ₦1 million to his Opay account and refused to reimburse the funds.

An X user named @yk-xiany shared the story, revealing that it happened a month ago.

The X user claims that from the ₦1 million that was inadvertently added to his account, the company’s management offered him ₦100,000.

The individual insisted on not giving the money back in spite of the offer.

‎Sharing how the man was caught read what @yk-xiany narrated below;

He thought he could get away with the money but they where able to trace his recent calls to two numbers one was his mum the other his girlfriend the police traced the two numbers and were able to catch him”.

Following his capture, it was found that the individual had spent ₦300,000 on a phone.
