Nigerian matchmaker Lege Maimi has publicly accused a woman named Bisola of concealing her twins from a UK-based man she met via his matchmaking platform.
In a video circulating online, Lege explained that Bisola had joined his livestream in search of a husband. He said he linked her with a man in the UK who went on to support her financially, including giving her millions of naira to invest in her business.
“Bisola, you’re wicked and heartless. You came to my live and told me to matchmake you with a man, which I did. A guy called in from the UK that he liked her, so I gave her to him because the guy sounded responsible.”
Lege Maimi said Bisola later confided in him that the man treated her well, spoiled her with gifts, and even sponsored a trip to China for her. He alleged that the couple had started planning their introduction ceremony after she reportedly claimed she had no children.
According to the matchmaker, the man stumbled upon the alleged lie during their trip to Nigeria when he overheard a phone call in which someone asked Bisola about her children.
He allegedly recorded the conversation and confronted her at about 2 a.m., after which she admitted to having twins and pleaded with him to go ahead with their wedding plans.
“Bisola, you used stealing by trick to scam a man on my page. I’ll make sure you pay back all that money,” he added.
The allegations have sparked conversations about honesty and financial trust in relationships. However, they remain unverified, and Bisola’s side of the story was not included in Lege Maimi’s account.
