Tonto Dikeh, a Nollywood actress, has revealed what she calls a “small secret” that she feels many people ignore — and it has the potential to revolutionise their financial situation in 2026.
Tonto noted that rich individuals receive innumerable messages every day from people seeking assistance, but very few from people simply wanting to contribute or praise them. She believes that being unique is the first step towards sticking out.
In a video posted to her Instagram page, the actress recommended people to stop viewing affluent friends, family members, and prominent figures as potential helpers and to start intentionally giving to them first, no matter how tiny.
She encouraged people to give to the best of their ability, emphasising that the magnitude of the present is less important than the heart and meaning behind it.
“These people have thousands of DMs of people begging them, but not of people wanting to give them. Be different,” she said.
The actress also mentioned a lesson her life coach taught her: leadership and blessings frequently come through individuals who understand the power of giving.
Tonto went on to say that many people continually beg for favours from friends on whom they rely, but never take the time to thank them with even a tiny present.
