Ghanaian govt to relocate its citizen seen in viral video being att@cked by South Africans

The government has agreed to facilitate the return of its citizen following a xenophobic incident in South Africa.

The decision comes after a viral video showed a group confronting Emmanuel and accusing him of residing in the country illegally. They also alleged he obtained residency documents through improper means.

In a subsequent interview with a TV station, Emmanuel called on fellow Ghanaians abroad to consider returning home to help build their country.

Confirming the government’s response, stated that Emmanuel has been located and arrangements are being made to bring him back to Ghana at no cost.

The development comes amid ongoing concerns about the safety of foreign nationals in South Africa.
