“Freedom is priceless” – Ice Prince says after release from Ikoyi prison

After six days in Ikoyi prison, Nigerian artist Panshak Zamani, also known as Ice Prince, declared that freedom is priceless.

The rapper made this claim on Thursday, September 15, via his Twitter account, one week after being granted bail.

He tweeted, “Freedom is priceless.

The “Oleku” singer is on trial for three counts that include assault, preventing a police officer from performing his or her official duties, and kidnapping.

He was taken into custody early on September 2 in connection with an alleged kidnapping and assault of a police officer in Lagos.

He was granted bail in the amount of N500,000 by the court, who also required him to provide “two responsible sureties.

In addition, the court mandated his detention at the Ikoyi prison up until his bail requirements were satisfied.
