A family of six has been discovered d£•d in the Ogale neighborhood of Rivers State’s Eleme Local Government Area.

On Saturday night, Obele Theophilus, his wife, kids, and brother-in-law went to bed, but on Sunday morning, January 11, 2026, they did not wake up. 

When the family’s door was still locked at ten in the morning, neighbors expressed increasing concern. 

Neighbors forced the door open and found the d£•d bodies after repeatedly knocking without getting a response.

The brother-in-law was discovered near the door, indicating that he might have attempted to open it, while the man and kids were discovered on the bed and the wife in the restroom.

The victims had intended to return to Port Harcourt following the holiday prior to the tragedy, according to local sources.

Since nobody has been able to give precise information about the circumstances surrounding the incident, the cause of d3•th is still unknown.
