Odumodublvck, a Nigerian rapper, has reacted to the controversial shooting of Mene Ogidi, 28, during a police operation in Delta State.

The incident, which has prompted uproar on social media, reportedly included cops from the Area Command in Effurun and resulted in the death of 28-year-old Mene Ogidi.

Odumodublvck responded to the development on his X page, expressing his regret over the tragedy.

The rapper criticised how the victim was allegedly treated by the officers involved.

In his article, the music singer likened the situation to how criminals are treated in other nations, calling into question the officers’ behaviour in the viral video.

He wrote: “Even the person wey wan kill Donald Trump. Them nor tie am the way wey police tie that innocent boy.”

His statement rapidly grabbed traction online, with many fans and social media users reacting in varying ways in the comments area.

The incident has sparked widespread condemnation from activists, celebrities, and social media users around the country.

Many Nigerians denounced the incident as an instance of police brutality and demanded that those involved face the law.

Meanwhile, Olatunji Disu, the Inspector-General of Police, has ordered the removal and prosecution of the policemen engaged in the event.

The police leadership reportedly promised to uphold justice while assuring Nigerians that wrongdoing and extrajudicial executions will not be tolerated inside the service.
