Jace Ekeh has opened up about her past marriage, alleging that her former husband, who was a pastor, repeatedly used her infertility struggles against her emotionally during their relationship.

According to Jace, one of the most painful statements allegedly made by her ex-husband was that “even mad women are √@ped on the streets and get pregnant,” a comment she said deeply wounded her during the marriage.

She revealed that she eventually left the marriage in July 2018 after years of alleged emotional abu$e. Jace also explained that although she first shared the story on Facebook about 10 years ago, she initially presented it as though it happened to another woman in order to protect her then-husband’s identity and avoid public pity while trying to save the marriage.

In a new Facebook post shared on Thursday, May 14, 2026, she confirmed that she and her ex-husband were the people involved in the story. She stated that she is now in a place of healing and no longer wants to hide her experiences behind metaphors or third-person storytelling.

Jace added that while the hurtful words no longer define her, she hopes speaking publicly will encourage other women silently struggling with infertility, shame, or emotional pressure in marriage to feel less alone.
