The Edo State Police Command has recovered the bodies of two kidnap victims m8rdered by their abductors in Ovia North-East Local Government Area of the state.
The spokesperson for the command, ASP Eno Ikoedem, who disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 said one of the two victims identified as Mrs. Favour Nosakhare, 66, was abducted alongside two of her family members in Iyowa Community, Ovia North-East LGA.
According to the PPRO, the bodies were recovered following the arrest of a suspected member of a kidnapping syndicate, who led police operatives to the shallow graves weeks after the victims were abducted.
