Sharon Adeleke, the daughter of Billonaire, has urged people to wear their clothes with confidence on several occasions, stating that no one should feel compelled to purchase new clothing for every occasion.

Following a discussion with her team before to an event, she announced on her Instagram page that she has made the decision to begin pushing the concept of re-rocking garments.

She claims that members of her team dissuaded her from wearing a dress she had previously worn to Coachella because people had already seen her wearing it.

“I’m going to start promoting re-rocking. So on Sunday now, I have an event and I did not have anything made for it. So I planned to wear something that I had in my closet that I’ve worn for Coachella, and my team were like, ‘Oh, but people have seen it. They will see it again,’” she said.

But Sharon was adamant that she wouldn’t let social norms or internet comments prevent her from wearing clothing that she already possesses.

She emphasised that wearing the same clothes again is quite acceptable, particularly if they still fit well and are comfortable for the wearer.

“Don’t let anybody tell you that you can’t re-rock. Don’t let anyone pressure you. Me, I will re-rock as many times as I need to re-rock. I’m not going to let anybody put any kind of unnecessary, stupid pressure on me about anything,” she added.

Many social media users have already responded favourably to her remarks, praising her for encouraging self-assurance, sustainability, and defying needless fashion pressure.
