Nigerian pastor and preacher, Apostle Emmanuel Iren, has urged Christians to be cautious about joining social media conversations that involve criticism or attacks against men of God.
Iren made the statement while advising believers against making comments about pastors or ministers based solely on allegations or opinions shared online.
According to the cleric, Christians should avoid getting involved in controversies surrounding men of God unless they have enough reason to believe that the person being criticised is genuinely not from God.
He said: “If you see anybody, either on social media or anywhere, dragging a man of God, don’t put your mouth, except you’re sure he’s not of God.”
His comment has sparked discussions among social media users, with some interpreting it as a call for Christians to exercise caution before taking sides in online controversies involving religious leaders.
